Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Disconnect the connect (A).

Remove the package tray trim.
(Refer to the BD group - "Interior trim")

Remove the high mounted stop lamp assembly (A) after loosening
2 screws.

Remove the high mounted stop lamp bulb (A) after turning in the
counter clockwise direction.

Open the tailgate and remove the nuts. (3EA)
