Kia Rio: Weight Classification System (WCS) Removal

1.	Disconnect the battery negative cable, and wait for at least three minutes before beginning work.

2.	Remove the front passenger seat assembly. (Refer to the Body group - "Seat")

3.	Remove the seat track assembly. (Refer to the Body group - "Seat")

There are several DTC cases, please check below status.

Case A	B1763 OCS ECU Defect
Case B	B1323 OCS Sensor Defect
Case C	B1319 OCS Required Weight Check
Case D	B1697 ACU Communication error

•	Case A. B. Remove the seat track assembly of the front passenger seat . After replacing, perform WCS reset and DTC clear.

•	Case C. Perform WCS reset and accuracy check, if accuracy check result is accepted and DTC is historic, WCS can be re-used.

•	Case D. Check wirings and connectors. If there is no DTC after WCS reset and DTC clear, WCS can be re-used.
